FAFSA Frenzy Night 2017!

Parents of Seniors, the school will host a FAFSA frenzy day on October 16th  from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.  During this time, we will have representatives from Cleveland State Community College's Financial Aid department on campus in our Media Center to assist parents in this process.  The following information are items that parents should bring with them to complete this process.

  • Social Security numbers for you and your student
  • Driver's License number (student)
  • Tax returns from 2016
  • Final paychecks from 2016, if W2 is not available
  • All other financial records including untaed income, savings, investments, etc.
  • Parents wedding date and / or divorce date (from most current relationship)
  • FSA ID for both student and parent **

The FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aide, is designed to help students (and their parents) pay for post-secondary pursuits.  The FAFSA is required for all consideration for federal grants and loans, as well as consideration for all scholarship opportunities at the individual school level.  Most colleges and universities will use the FAFSA information to determine eligibility for endowments and grants as well.
