An honors program for high achieving high school students who love science

The National Youth Science Camp is for high achieving honors students, with over 5,000 participants since 1963. It is located in West Virginia. Their programs include lectures, interactive seminars, directed studies, and backcountry adventure programs. Also, the National Youth Science Camp has national representations, physical environments studies, intense learning, non-competitive learning, brood exposures to new fields of science, Washington visits, and Senate luncheons. The goal of this camp to honor high-achieving science-oriented students, introduce new scientific topics, encourage lifelong learning in science, demonstrate relationships between science and other principles, prepare students to face college and careers, and develop creativity.
